FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH ARE UTILITIES?
Utilities vary based on use & municipality however here is a rough guideline on what you can expect.
Water/Sewer/Garbage: $90-160/month for homes occupied by 3-6 adults
Electricity: $90-$200 month. Air Conditioning use heavily impacts the rate in the summer. TVS, Computers, Phones & other electronic use also impacts this.
Gas: $15-$250/month. The winter months are higher because of heat use.
Cable/Internet: Varies by provider
WHAT OTHER EXPENSES SHOULD WE BE PREPARED FOR?
All tenants are required to provide proof of renters insurance prior to occupancy of the home. Many require a minimum of $500,000 in liability coverage, but in some cases more. Your lease will define the amount of coverage required. If you are a business renting one of our managed homes, an additional owners policy is often required that the tenant is responsible for.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Most of our properties allow pets. An additional deposit of $500 is required for each pet and pet rent of $50/month per pet apply. Current licensing and vaccination records are required. Breed & Weight restrictions apply at some of our locations. We do not permit more than 2 pets at any property. All roommates must sign the lease in agreement of pets. Please submit picture of pet along with name, weight and vaccination records at the time of application.
WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO RENT A PROPERTY?
- Every adult tenant must complete an application. Application fee applies.
- We process applications in the order received. A full set of applications is required for processing.
- We process your application fee, request your approval for background / credit checks & request documentation from you to verify your application information provided.
- Once fully approved, you will receive 1) An email to sign your lease & 2) A request to login to your tenant portal to pay your deposit. All signatures and deposits must be submitted within 24 hours.
